Jeff Dix is a professional musician: a highly experienced multi-instrumentalist with many years of experience in music and teaching. Jeff began learning guitar at the age of 13 and by 19 was touring South Africa, and what was then Rhodesia, playing the hotel and club circuit as lead guitarist and back-up vocalist in a rock band (Shalima). He developed into an outstanding guitarist and is also accomplished on drums, keyboards, bass guitar and flute.

He studied jazz and classical theory under Jimmy Gilmer for 14 months at the age of 23. Jeff presently teaches and also performs as a one-man-band. As a one-man-band he performs at corporate events, weddings, private parties, restaurants etc.

He has also written and produced his own music and has released a number of CDs which have received airplay both locally and abroad.
